Sponsoring a Group or Unit is Easy

Denver, Colorado – September 1, 2006. Treats for Troops has registered representatives from groups and units ranging in size from six soldiers to around a hundred who are responsible for distributing packages that are sent to their group. They make a special effort to insure that those who seldom get mail receive packages. Large packages are shared with everyone in the group.

Companies and organizations who’d like to sponsor an entire group or unit for the holidays can do so quickly and easily by simply contacting groupgift@treatsfortroops.com. We have groups registered with us from many different states, branches of service and specialties, including foreword deployed advance units, firefighters, medics, maintenance crews, and many moreIndividuals who can’t take on a big group but would like to be part of a program can also contact groupgift@treatsfortroops.com. Our Group Gift Manager Lisa Baron can arrange for your package to go to a group or unit that’s asked for support. Group Gift department manager Lisa Baron was a military wife for over twenty years while her husband Mike was on active duty, so she really knows how to pick out packages soldiers are sure to appreciate. “I really enjoy helping people,” s

he says. “I know first hand what a difference a package from home can make.” Here’s a note from the leader of a small group of Fire Fighting Marines who shared the package he received with his troops. Treats for Troops has since set up his Crash Crew as one of our smaller groups available for sponsoring.

Dear Karen Travis

Karen, I want to thank you for your package that you sent. I was really surprised to see it come so quick out here. There was so much in the box I got I split it with the 5 other Marines that work for me. They also want to say thank you for your support. It's nice to know there are people back home that think about us once in awhile. Your kindness reminds us of what wereout here for.

Thank you!

Ernesto and the MWSS 372 Crash Crew Marines, Western Iraq
